Easy Way to Attach Lace Front African American Wigs

You may have admired Beverly Johnson for a long time and finally bought one of the lace front African American wigs in her style. Yeah, it's time to change your look and feel confident with wig, but how to attach this lace front wig? That's simple easy.

Actually, there are different ways you can attach lace front wigs to your head. First of all, if you have long hair, it should be braided. Shorter hair can simply be placed beneath a wig cap - a wig cap can be a basic knee high with the elastic cut off (in a color similar to your skin tone).

To fully attach the African American wigs to your head, you can apply a wig-specific liquid adhesive just around the perimeter of your hairline - it should not touch your hair. Some use adhesive tapes (again, specifically designed for use with wigs). These work especially well for women who are bald (because of chemotherapy, etc.) Instead of adhesive, some women may simply clip the wig to their naturally growing hair.
